Here lies the threshold, the gateway to the realm of the dead. This is the other side of the Nile, a forbidden land void of life and hope. An endless expanse of sand and despair awaits those who cross. Here, the banks drop off sharply, imprisoning those who set foot on these sands. These banks are the starting point for the dead - a last sojourn for the damned.

No New Posts Hallowed Land

Here the spirits of the dead reside - countless souls cursed to walk the sands of the necropolis for eternity. Time does not touch this land, the earth frozen in a perpetual nothingness. Ruins of once great temples dot the realm; broken symbols of their former glory. What little vegetation there was is now gone, swallowed up by the sands that dominate this hallowed kingdom.

No New Posts Valley of the Kings

The bodies of the pharaohs are buried in the Valley of the Kings. The valley contains the lands only oasis. A multitude of gold artifacts, protective statues of the gods, and large pyramids surround the valley. The largest pyramid, the Pyramid of the Ankh, serves as the headquarters for the tribe members that are doomed to care for the dead for all eternity.

Board Description
Land of the Dead
The Land of the Dead serves as the gateway to the Duat. It is a vast expanse of sand and gnarled trees that lies beyond the western bank of the Nile. Here, the newly deceased are ferried across the Nile; where their ba's are separated from their bodies. It is the only visible portion of the dimension.
