Along the border of the first nome the mighty Nile River ebbs and flows. It's crashing waves and strong currents begin to lessen as the river reaches the shore, enabling Tribe members to enter the shallows. The banks are covered in lush grasses, reeds, and palm trees. Crocodiles lurk in the breaks between the vegetation. During the wet season, prey scurries about in abundance.

No New Posts Kaphiri Foothills

Rolling hills of golden grasses extend beyond the banks of the Nile. Small, dried out shrubs and rocks dot the landscape. All vegetation withers during the dry season, leaving the sandy hills bare. The majority of the nome's prey can be found hidden among the brush. Small tunnels wind through the hills, serving as meeting places and houses for the Tribe members.

No New Posts Thieve's Inlet

A small inlet is hidden by the ruins of an ancient temple. The ruins take on a golden aura as the sun glints off the golden artifacts scattered around. Here, thieves sell their goods in black market exchanges. Skilled guards hide among the ruins; acting on orders to seize any who discover the hideaway.

Board Description
Nile Delta
An arcuate delta sports some of the most diverse wildlife and vegetation of the region. Annual floods engulf the low lying plain; creating a turbulent and anarchic floodplain. These floodwaters have been sent by the goddess Ma'at to remind her Tribe of the fragile balance they are tasked with upholding. During the cooler months, the Delta is red with lotus flowers. During the dry season, the waters of the delta evaporate; leaving behind cracked riverbeds and blanched salt fields.
