Near the back of the complex stands an august and stately building adorned with golden trims and murals. This is the grandoise palace of the pharaoh of the Tribe of Ma'at. The facade of the dwelling overlooks a motionless, reflective pond; dominated by the hulking bodies of the crocodiles that reside in its translucent waters. Tribe members may only enter the palace for official business.

A spacious corridor snakes beneath the granular terrain of the first nome; opening up into a fire-lit room littered with papyrus scrolls. Large, picturesque murals that depict the history of Egypt camouflage the austere walls of the temple. This room serves as the headquarters of the priests and scribes of Ma'at.

Groves of palm trees shade a complex of limestone and reed structures. Here, vendors sell weapons and jewelry. A small tributary of the Nile winds through the center of the marketplace, providing water and fish for travelers. The occasional prisoner will be displayed at the center of the market.

Board Description
Temple of Ma'at
The Temple of Ma'at is a large complex that stretches across the first nome. Towering limestone walls enclose the grounds, hindering entrance from non-Tribe members. A golden statue of the goddess Ma'at stands at the center of the complex; surrounded by glowing protective hieroglyphs. An array of brightly colored feathers have been carved into all of the structures.
