No New Posts Temple of Osiris

A great, limestone temple rises from the shimmering currents of the Duat. This is the dwelling of Osiris, the god of the dead. Among the ever changing images and hieroglyphs that constitute the temple stands a golden scale; reminiscent of the scale found in the Hall of Judgement. Here, Osiris weighs the heart of the damned against the feather of truth. If the scale is perfectly balanced, the deceased is permitted to enter the Fields of Aalu. If it is not, the demon god Ammit will devour their heart and exile them to the Land of the Dead for all eternity.

No New Posts Lake of Fire

Beside the Temple of Osiris lies a lake of fire. The ba of ancient demons burst out of the fiery waters, seeking to gamble with those awaiting judgment. If the deceased accepts their challenge, they may barter their soul in exchange for demonic powers. If the challenge is lost, their soul will be devoured by the eternal flames of the lake.

Board Description
The Underworld
Once a ba has entered the Land of the Dead, it is drawn to the underworld by the currents of the Duat. The underworld is a vast kingdom existing beneath the mortal world. It is separated into three distinct areas: the Temple of Osiris, the River of Death, and the Lake of Fire.
